This issue was originally scheduled in June 2026, to mark the 100th Ingeborg Bachmann’s 100th birthday, work in progress for a quite a while. However, the noise-dampening “blanket” or “mat” (which, unsurprisingly, is to be found inadequately reproduced in the comic) presented us with the insurmountable challenge of finding a way to slip a “joke-dampening mat” under Gilberte’s machine. The comic doesn’t write *everything* through its images.
